About the Owners

Our family loves traveling and have found a couple places we keep going back to: The Palm Springs area and Placencia, Belize!

We love the peaceful location of Indian Palms Country Club neighborhood. When we are looking for somewhere with a laid-back vibe in the tropics, we head to Placencia, Belize.

Both places are filled with amazing food, beautiful attractions and everlasting memories!

When we aren’t there ourselves, we enjoy sharing these tranquil Spots. We pride ourselves in offering responsive communication, and a fantastic home for you to relax in and enjoy your vacation.

Meet our Team

Marcela Contreras and Lolys Mendoza are an important part of the team at The Golden Spot – Coachella Valley, CA. They are professionals, working hard to prioritize the sanitation and presentation of the house for all our guests.

Steve Dominguez is a friendly face you may see while staying at The Golden Spot – Coachella Valley, CA. He does a fantastic job keeping the pool and spa clean and inviting for our guests, as well as taking care of other items that come up around the property. Steve is a favorite of guests due to his approachable nature and willingness to help!

Chef Juan comes to The Golden Spot with over 10 years of experience as a chef! He worked in some of the best local restaurants in Placencia and is enjoying his transition to be our private chef. His meals do not disappoint!

Marvin and Kelly come from a village in Belize about two hours away called Valley of Peace.They come to The Golden Spot -Placencia, Belize with a lot of experience hosting at vacation villas.
Marvin is our Maintenance Manager. He will keep the house in good operating order, the pool sparkling and the beach looking beautiful. He will also normally be there to greet you upon arrival.

Kelly is our House Manager and professional cleaner. She will greet you upon arrival, keep the villa clean, and be around for any questions you might have or to steer you to the right place for an excursion or a delicious meal at a nearby restaurant.
